[NYC - Flatiron] Eataly - Gelato

Eataly is a destination for all things Italian. It is part market, part bar, part restaurant, part coffee shop, and part dessert cafe.

The market is great! You really need to check it out! You can buy fresh pastas, cured meats, a wide selection of cheeses, and high-quality fresh produce by the pound.

There are also full-service restaurants within this marketplace. It is a little confusing, but the staff is definitely willing and able to help you. You just need to decide if you want fish, vegetarian food, or pizza/pasta. They'll help you from there.

If you just have a hankering for sweets, stop by their gelato counter or pastry counter. There are a variety of flavors available and a variety of sizes.

I got the salted caramel gelato, my favorite flavor, and it was delicious. Rich, but delicious.
There is also a Nutella Bar! Enough said.

Plan your visit to one of the market locations and learn the in and outs of Italian food with "How To Eataly" prepared by Eataly's experts including Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich, and Joe Bastianich.
I looked at it in the Chicago location and it looks like a very in-depth guide to Italian food.
