They have so many homemade tarts and cakes to choose from. You can also get some cafe sandwiches and cafe beverages.

Red Grape Tart and Banana Tart

I don't remember exactly how I discovered this place last year. Likely, I was hungry at night and was doing some foodblog research, one of my favorite hobbies. It is very close to the station, so it is a great meeting place. Actually, I met many friends here and maybe went each week or something crazy like that.

It sells tarts and beverage items. Actually, I think that they also serve other baked goods, but I was here for the tarts and had eyes only for them. They also have fresh, made-to-order salads, pastas, and pizzas.

Some of the tarts appear to be there just for the visual impact...you know, so people, like me can take pictures of them and have their friends be jealous of them.

Strawberry Tart and Earl Grey Tart

We ordered the most popular ones, take that with a grain of salt because of visual impact statement above,..but we were not disappointed. Some of the varieties we tried were not the most top-rated ones, but they were still delicious, so fear not.

Just so you know, the most popular options are: green grape tart, banana tart, and strawberry tart. And...I have tried all of them (not all the tarts I tried are pictured here) and they were all good. They have my stamp of approval. The price is kind of expensive, but it is Gangnam and the tarts are freshly baked. They are about 5,000-6,000KRW per slice. You can also order a whole tart for about 45,000KRW. The espresso-based beverages come in two sizes and are priced around 5,000KRW. The coffee is pretty good, not the usual watery thing you are often sold in Korea.

The green tea tart and the orange and grapefruit tart look delicious, but I have never had the opportunity to try them. If you try one of those flavors, you MUST let me know!

The menu is in both English and Korean. And...for ordering tarts, you can always just employ the "look hungry and point" method.

They also have made-to-order cafe items like pizzas, salads, and pastas. So, you can partake in that type of food, as well, but I have never tried it, so I can only suggest what I've heard is good: cranberry chicken salad and the tomato spaghetti. I have heard that the seafood cream pasta is really oily and not that good, so you may want to stay away from that one. According to their website, the popular menu items are the Chili Chicken (13,00KRW) and the Tomato Mozzarella Salad (15,900KRW).

For some reason, not that many people have heard of this place even though it has been around a while. But, while I was writing this post, I did some searching on Korean blogs and I guess it is going to start gaining popularity since one of the most popular Korean blogs just posted about it.

Directions:
From Gangnam Station (Line 2/Shinbundang Line) go out exit 10 and go straight to the first road. Turn left at The Body Shop and stay on that side of the street and then walk straight and you should see it on your left.

Order on the first floor and seating is on the second floor.
