[San Francisco - SoMA] Elite Audio Coffee Bar - High Quality Latte Art

Elite Audio Coffee Bar was the perfect combination of my favorite things - coffee, latte art, and minions!

I found this café while I was looking for coffee shops near my hotels (I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott in the Financial District and The Mosser Hotel near Union Square).
I even had my Minion phone case. The little guys were with me to celebrate the opportunity to be drawn on my latte.

What would you request for your latte art?

The location is a little hard to find, but it's doable. (I did get a little lost...I was trying to find SF MoMA, but it was under construction).

The latte was $3.50.

The baristas were incredibly polite and super skilled. I was the annoying kid who asked if they still did latte art.

The barista did an internet search and was able to draw Stuart for me in my foam using chocolate.

The atmosphere is clean and urban-industrial. There are about 4 chairs at the bars in front of the window and two high-top tables with two chairs each. (They had just gotten new furniture the day I went, so I am not sure if there will be new tables/chairs coming.)

Their coffee is locally-roasted (Blue Bottle) and they make wonderfully strong lattes.
Often, I am disappointed when I go somewhere for latte art and just have a "visual" experience, rather than a visual and delicious experience.

They also serve pastries, my guess is that they were local.

The entrance is pretty low-key. Basically, completely low-key.
Just make sure you look for the street address number. It is easily seen above the door.

Location: 893A Folsom St (between 4th and 5th St.).

If you are in the area, I definitely recommend you stop by the café.
Even if you're not in the area, stop by and get a latte. You will not be disappointed. :)
