[Seoul - Myeongdong] Sulbing - TAKEOUT Bingsoo!

Did you know that you can do carryout bingsu at Sulbing?

I have been meaning to write this for a super long time, but it got lost in the shuffle.

We were at the Myeongdong location, pretty near Lotte Hotel since that's where we were staying.

My parents really like bingsu, so I knew we had to stop by Sulbing. My mother requested the seasonal strawberry tiramisu one, so we had to oblige (this was winter, so that's why strawberry was available).

We didn't really want to eat it at the cafe, so we ordered takeout! I think this option is available at a lot of the locations, but I'm not 100% sure that it's available at all locations.

If you want take out, just tell them you want it 포장 해주세요(pojang hae juseyo).

As you can see, they wrap everything up and give you an insulated freezer bag, too.
It's kind of overpackaged, but it does keep all of the different components intact. This particular bingsu has a whipped cream topping, so that explains the third plastic cup.
The small cup has the condensed milk.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything transported. I mean, it was winter, but it's still whipped cream and fresh fruit, but everything was still intact.

You do have to do a bit more work and it's not quite as Insta-ready as if you eat in...since you have to create it all yourself, but you have a bit more creative freedom, so that's a plus, I guess.

They even gave you the signature Sulbing chocolate topper.
It does take a bit more time for the worker to prepare than if you get the eat-in version...and the worker was a bit annoyed (I kind of think it was just her personality though...she was kind of short with the Japanese and Chinese tourists), so maybe be prepared to wait about 8-10 minutes.

Again, the length of time may have just been my experience because of the particular worker...and since she was there alone.
The cost is the same as with eat-in.

Let me know if you get any bingsoo takeout and about your experience!
