[Washington, DC] GWU Textile Museum - The Box Project: Uncommon Threads

The Box Project: Uncommon Threads

My sister works at the Textile Museum at George Washington University. We thought it would be fun to share some of the exhibitions here, so you could possibly plan your next trip if something catches your fancy. Before she started working here, I didn't know there was a Textile Museum.

The exhibition runs from now until January 7, 2018.

If you are interested in learning more about the exhibition after your visit, there are catalogs available in the shop for $95 (limited quantities available).

Free docent-led tours of the galleries are offered Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. (textile tour) and 2:45 p.m. (Washingtoniana tour).

The price of admission is an $8 suggested donation for non-members. Free for museum members, children, and current GW students, faculty, and staff.
