It's a farm-to-table restaurant that showcases Vermont-origin ingredients and craft beers from around the Northeast.
We started with the Asparagus and Pea salad. This salad was really nice and fresh. We knew we wanted the Farro Risotto as the main, so we wanted a light starter. There was a lot of flavor, however there was a tad too much dressing for my preferences.
For the mains, we got the Farro Risotto. This was a really savory and heavy dish, as was expected. It actually complemented the salad quite well, especially since both items had asparagus in them.
I actually ended up eating most of the salad and my mom ended up eating most of the risotto because I was kind of worried about the amount of cream in the risotto. The vegetables were quite fresh, though, I must say.
This is the Fish and Chips. This picture was not taken under the best lighting circumstances, so apologies. The fish was really hot when it was served. It was a really hefty portion, actually. The fish meat was really hot and still quite moist and tender. The outer crust was very crispy and not overly greasy. The fries were very fresh and crispy. The coleslaw was a really nice and added a nice crunch and freshness to the otherwise fried plate.
This is the menu, but since this is a farm-to-table restaurant, I am assuming that it changes depending on the available ingredients, but I could be wrong? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
